In the spirit of Australia day, the PeepToe team would like to share with you our favourite summer hot spots for celebrating!
.
Fraser Suits Hotel – City
Fraser Suites Hotel in the CBD is Sydney’s best kept secret.
We think this luxurious building keeps the personal attention of a boutique hotel, as well as bringing its residents an all class experience.
We like to go there as an escape from the everyday hustle, to revive ourselves with some essential R&R. It’s the perfect venue to treat your partner to a romantic night or two this summer. Or make it a girl’s getaway, filled with city shopping and bar hopping.
We can’t wait to check in again!

Sparkles Cupcakery – Surry Hills
For a sweet time, I just can’t go past Sparkles Cupcakery in Surry Hills for the perfect Saturday lunch location.
Sparkles is our offices go-to treat store for our events, parties and birthdays. But actually going to the Cupcakery itself, just makes it that much more fun!
Indulge yourself with some made from scratch treats and a great feminine ambience.
Bring a girlfriend or 5, you won’t regret it!

Hugo’s – Manly Wharf
Enjoy one of Sydney’s top waterfront views, with a big bench full of friends, picking and swapping slices of gourmet pizza and sampling some of the freshest seafood around.
Easily on of my favourite places to dine, Hugo’s at Manly wharf boasts a vibrant atmosphere, beach style, sea views. In my opinion, it’s the perfect mixture of relaxation and sophistication for a restaurant.
Make sure the next time you have visitors to make the trip and take them there.

Miss G’s – Potts Point
Not your typical Asian cuisine, and easy to spot with its pink neon sign – Miss G’s is an office favourite for good food, good wine and good company.
From the open kitchen in the basement, to the attic bar upstairs, these four unexpected floors of dining makes this restaurant a diamond in the rough for stylish, yet unpretentious dining; mouth-watering dishes without sky rocket prices.
I love to get a group together for one of those long and lazy dinners where plate after plate are ordered and the table is a free-for-all of tapas.
In terms of my menu recommendations, I just can’t get enough of the Aloe Vera cocktails (so much more delicious than it sounds) as well as the mini burgers and prawn toast. You will thank me.

The Intersection Glenmore Road Paddington:
Oxford street may have the famed title, but just off it, Glenmore road has the crème de la crème of Paddington Boutiques.
Zimmerman, Camilla & Marc, Scanlan & Theodore, Acne & yours truly all reside on this stylish street.
By bee lining for Glenmore Road it cuts my shopping and walking time in half – there is no need to walk the whole stretch of Oxford street.
This little alcove is sure to please, displaying the best that Australian fashion has to offer, from summer bargains to luxe expenses.
I hope you love our hotspots! Where are your favourite places to celebrate on a hot summer Sydney day? Let us know
Until next time … PeepToe xx
